 TLA Releasing, the company who has worldwide exclusive rights to distribution of The Love Patient, has announced the release date of movie on DVD in the United Kingdom.
According to their press release on www.tlareleasing.co.uk, the DVD will be available to UK residents on January 9, 2012, just over a week earlier than it will be available to residents here in the USA. For the full press release and details, visit this web page. The movie will be available for £15.99.
It does not appear that the movie is available for pre-order, but that may be because we are loading the page from the USA. If there are any fans from the UK that can check that out from us, please comment here or email us to let us know.

 It’s not too late to get your tickets to see The Love Patient at Chicago’s Reeling 30 Gay & Lesbian Film Festival!
That’s right, the 2011 Gay & Lesbian Film Festival circuit is not over yet. The Love Patient is an official selection for Reeling 30, The Chicago Lesbian and Gay International Film Festival taking place now until November 12th.
Our screening will be taking place on November 10th at Landmark’s Century Centre Cinema and it’s not too late to get your tickets. Sure, the movie will be released on DVD in January, but it really just isn’t the same as seeing it in a theater with a bunch of gay cinema lovers, especially film festival cinema lovers!

In early October several of the cast & crew ventured down to Tampa, FL to attend the screening of The Love Patient at the Tampa International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival. A good time was had by all as the movie was screened by a receptive audience with great feedback. Of course, what’s a trip to a film festival without a little fun after at the local establishments?

 The Love Patient is now available for Pre-Order!
TLA Video, through its TLA Gay site, is now offering The Love Patient for pre-order as of mid-October, for release on January 17, 2012. In fact, within one week of it’s initial offering TLP rose from “never heard of it” to #1 on the Top Gay Pre-Orders list on the site and stayed there for nearly 2 weeks. As of this writing, it is currently #6 on the Top 10 list – presumably because most of those interested in the movie have already ordered it!!
Normally list priced for $24.99, TLA is offering the movie at a special pre-order price at 20% off for $19.99.

TLA Releasing is dedicated to broadening the choices available to film lovers by specializing in quality independent, international and gay/lesbian-themed films by distributing them in theaters and on home video.
TLA stands for Theatre of the Living Arts, which began in the early 1960s as an experimental theatre group. In 1971 the venue became a repertory cinema presenting International, Independent and cult films. The cinema closed in 1980 but in 1981 several former employees (including the current partners today) bought the cinema and re-opened it as a nationally recognized venue with a vision to bring all types of cinema to film lovers.
TLA Releasing distributes International and American films in North America and United Kingdom.
